Single Surfer

The only company of sunscreen and neoprene.

Witnessing the drowning sunset, wishing I was not alone.

Too beautiful to keep to myself but company was limited to the waves. These limitless waves engulfed my hunger; swell after swell not satisfying the unsurfed.

Fighting the transparent cliffs; in families they come.

Infused with intense force, determined to crush me.

Pressing into the liquid battle once again, the smile growing, and then again, to paddle out further.

Conclude the minuets of momentum that collide with the constant of joy.
